Prima Card 3

Hi there!  Here is my card today...
I have been playing with the Easy Cast Resin in silicone molds - I have used the flat button mold, which are either side of the Happy Birthday. The Cameo is from an old Chocolate plastic mold I have had for nearly 30 years!!! ( Yes I love chocolate and was into making them myself many years ago!!!) Here is a closer  look at the Cameo...
I filled in the lady first and then once that was set I mixed up more resin and added about 10 drops of alcohol ink - latte, to colour it and then filled in the rest of the mold. The leftovers of the latte colour I used to make the cute buttons.
I have placed the Cameo on Spellbinders Label 10 dies cut out from the Prima Romantique 6x6 paper stack. The larger one I embossed with the swiss dots folder.  The  Martha Stewart punch I used is Swirling Lace. The pearls  are from Kaisercraft.
Playing with this easycast is very addictive! So I am off to play some more!

A Prima Card

Hi there!  Here is my card today...

I have used the lovely papers from the Prima Romantique 6x6 paper stack.  The Butterfly is one of the Spellbinders Wonderful Wings dies. The  Martha Stewart punch I used is Swirling Lace - my new favourite! The pearls and bling are from Kaisercraft - I coloured the 3 pearls on the butterfly with my copics to get the colour I wanted - love how you can do that!
Check back later for more cards using this Prima paper.

Another Easel Card

Hi there,
Well I have been on a 'roll' making easel cards lately using various Die shapes. Here is another one I have made using the Spellbinders Labels 10 die...

The stamp is from LOTV - Lili of the Valley, it is called Rugby Mad! This is most appropriate for the Males in my family and describes them to a 't' ! Could even work for some of the females too!! LOTV are offering free postage on their stamps, anywhere in the world at the moment, so that is a great deal!
I have coloured him in with my copics - Canterbury colours of course!
The paper is from Stampin' Up - Certainly Celery.

Panda Card

Hi there,

This is the card I made for my daughter for her 26th Birthday recently! She has loved Pandas since she was a little girl! I still have the Panda soft toys she had!
This card uses the digital Panda from the Paper Shelter - isn't he cute! I love his little bulgy tummy!
I coloured him in with my Copics and then layered him up on the MFT die-namics layered labels.
I have used papers from the Prima - En Francais 6x6 paper stack .

I am linking this card to The Paper Shelter Challenge #81 that uses punches or dies.

Christmas Butterflies

Hi there!

I had this post up on the Artfull Crafts Blog the other day so some of you may have seen this already!
Today I have some Christmas Butterflies to show you!! Not sure if Christmas and Butterflies go together, but I have decided they do! I love Butterflies all year round.
I have made some Butterfly easel cards using Kaisercraft's Turtle & Dove Collection...

I have used the lovely 'Shiny' papers from the 6x6 pad.  The Butterflies are the Spellbinders Wonderful Wings die set and the Card to create the base is Kaisercraft Burgundy and Khaki.
The idea for the Butterflies came from Bronwyn at addINKtive designs, she makes fabulous easel cards using a different die. She has an awesome tutorial, to make these Butterfly Easel cards, that you can purchase .
The sentiment is from the  Kaisercraft's Turtle & Dove Stamp set. I have used a Kaisercraft Sparklet in the center of the butterfly.

Here is a smaller butterfly one, which I thought would be good for a place name.

This last photo shows the size compared to the bigger butterfly card.
I have some more Butterflies made using the My Minds Eye - Market St papers here.

Memory Box Die

Hi there!
Well I have finally got my hands on some Memory Box Dies & some Poppy Stamp Dies!!
I got them here in  NZ -Creative Bugs and she has free postage!
I am hoping Liz at Artfull Crafts will get them in!
So here is a card I made with the Seville Buckle die from Memory Box - note how fine it is!!
I love using dies as I am not very careful at cutting out and so dies are awesome! Especially the intricate ones that are around now!  I have used Kaisercraft's Turtle & Dove Collection and I made the center circle with the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool - That paper is just perfect to use for this! This card was based on the same sketch from Freshly Made Sketches as yesterdays!

Christmas Cards already!

Hi there!

I have been working with Kaisercraft's Turtle Dove Collection for Artfull Crafts and so while I had it on my desk I thought I would use it to make a card using the Freshly Made Sketch from last week.

I love the green paper with the gold writing it is my favourite. Must go see if it comes as a 12x12 paper!
