Websters Strawberry Fields

Hi there, here are a couple of pocket pages I have done using the gorgeous Strawberry Fields papers from Websters...

These pages are of photos taken over a year ago at SENZ 2013!   I just love these Strawberry Field papers from Websters, especially the Little Views one with the small squares.  I have cut up the Imagine paper into 4x6 pieces to place my bottom photos on. Then I have cut up the 3x4s from the Quote Me and Storyteller Card sheet 2 to put in the other pockets. I added in my journalling and then it was onto embellishing!! I used some of my Flair circles which I printed out and then used my Epiphany 1" circle  to punch them out. I also used some of the word sentiment stickers from Strawberry Fields, some enamel dots and hearts and a couple of punched out butterflies!
The first page uses Design A page protector from Project Life and the 2nd one is from We R Memory Keepers with the 3 4x4 square pockets in the middle row.

Be-YOU-tiful Cards

Hi there, some cards using the Be-YOU-tiful Collection from Kaisercraft....

This is certainly a beautiful Collection! I just love the papers I have used for the backgrounds, these ones are from the paper pad and have lots of detail. Seems a shame to cover them up! But they are great for a background behind your main embellishments. I really like how Kaisercraft have some lovely sayings and their Collectables make it quite easy to add to these groupings. I have used the MFT postage die on each one and the bike and birdcage are also from MFT. The butterfly has been cut out with the Memory Box dies.

Mr Fox Cards

Hi there . here are 3 cards to show you using the Mr Fox Collection from Kaisercraft.....

For this card I have used the green papers from the paper pad - one for the background and the other 2 for two squares overlapping. Other offcuts of the green ones were used too as embellishing along with the Collectables.
I kept the style the same just changing the colours - here I went with the orange patterned papers.
I have used a doily with each one and some twine.
This one used the brown tones - great for a masculine card.  I especially like the ruler paper which came in various colours.
I like monocromatic cards and the papers had a great selection to choose from.  These 3 cards went together quickly - by keeping the style the same but changing the colours I got 3 different cards.

Mr Fox Layout

Hi there.
Here is a 12x 12 layout and a pocket page using the lovely Mr Fox Collection from Kaisercraft....

I really like the idea of having a 12x12 Layout  with a coordinating pocket page to go opposite.
So that is what I have done with these photos here.  The 12x12 is on a white Kaisercard base and from there I have added in some stamping, stenciling and patterned paper. I then added my photos and added the embellishing with collectables, washi tape, twine and rhinestones.

For the pocket page I have used design D.  I have kept 2 photos as 4x6 and added a project Life Overlay to one and a MAMBI sticker to the other.  The other 2 photos I have cropped and then attached to 4x6 patterned paper. The 4x3 pockets I have made from the paper pad and then embellished with more collectables, twine & charms. I also finally used my birdhouse stamp and a little wooden birdhouse I have had in my stash for years!

Heirloom Layouts

Hi there
Here is a Layout and 2 pocket pages using the Heirloom Collection from Kaisercraft....

For this Layout I have used the Heirloom Specialty paper - Home and attached it to some cream Kaiser card. For the  embellishments I have used some of the Collectables and Kaiser Bling Flourishes.

These 2 pocket pages use Echo Parks page with a 12x6 and 3 4x6 pockets. I find this design very handy when you have a mix of landscape and portrait photos to use. It is also a good one for using with 12x12 papers for in the 12x6 pocket. The Collectables once again have been handy to embellish with.  This Collection has been great to use with my 'older' photos and I am keen to get some more of them into pocket pages.

Snap for Dogs

Hi there - here are some pocket pages I have made using the Simple Stories Snap Collections. This one is all about dogs! We have a chocolate lab cross, Meg, who loves to come and help me feed the calves and come walking over the farm. The black dog is Oscar, who belongs to my daughter, and he loves to visit the farm! Of course I love to take photos of them and what better way to show them off than by using the Dog series from Simple Stories.....

I have used Snap! - Insta Squares - Dogs  in my pockets as well as some of the papers from the Snap Life 6x6 paper pad and Snap Life Basics 6x6 pad. Love how you can mix and match with this range.
I have also embellished with some washi tape and some stickers.

Card Set

Hi there  - This is a card set I have made using Kaisercraft's Kaleidoscope Collection....

From the paper pad I chose different patterned papers to make the sunburst pattern to have for my base of each card. I really like to make these and love how they each look different. Here is a Youtube video to watch if you are not familiar with how to do this.
For these 2 cards I cut out butterflies with my Memory Box Butterfly dies, used some collectables to join up the sunburst pattern to the base card and of course added some Bling!

The squares on these cards have been diecut using Spellbinders Decorative Labels 1.  The butterfly is from the Butterflies sticker sheet.
These 2 cards look quite different colour wise but just show the colour groupings you can get from this Collection. The black bird silhouette has been cut out with my Cameo.

For something to put my set of 6 cards in to give to a friend I have made this paper bag using the bag punch board. I have made it wider by cutting a separate panel from kraft card for the front. The back, sides and front strips were from the 12x12 paper and use the whole width of the 12" . This was easy to do and gives a bigger bag which will hold 6 cards and their envelopes.

Limelight Cards 2

Hi there -  I am back to show you what else I did with the Kaisercraft Limelight Collection.   Last time I was doing Tall & Skinny cards - so I thought inking up my one and only Julie Nutting doll stamp (Yes I only have 1! So far!) would be good as she needs a tall card base.

I stamped her straight onto a tag from a tag pad that comes with these stamps then I stamped her onto 2 different Limelight papers from the paper pad - these are great as the patterns on them are smaller than the 12x12 patterned papers. Then I fussy cut out the dress parts and layered them onto the stamped doll on the tag.  I coloured her hair and shoes with Copics and added a little flower to the headband and waistband. Next I layered the tag onto one of my tall & skinny card bases and added embellishments from the Collectables to finish her off!

For these 3 cards I used the  left over cards from cutting out my tall & skinny cards from the A4 cream card sheet. To these I have added the 3x4 cards from this paper. I trimmed them a little and layered them onto black 3x4 card then added leftover collectables. These cards can always be taken off the cream card base and used in project life pages!

I really like using up bits of leftovers from projects and making these smaller cards was a great way to do it!

Limelight Cards

Hi there - Here are some cards I have made using the Kaisercraft Limelight Collection.......

This card was based on this Mojo  sketch......

So I decided to go tall & skinny with these next 2 cards too!
With the envelope maker, which I love, you can make various sized cards and then make an envelope to fit!

I have used black and cream cardstock to frame and layer with the Limelight patterned papers from the 6x6 pad. Then I have embellished with the Collectables, diecut a few bits from the card and patterned paper, added Bakers twine and some pearl flourishes!
This collection was fabulous to work with so I have some more cards to show you tomorrow.

Hello Sunshine Cards

Hi there.
Here is a set of cards I have made with the Kaisercraft Hello Sunshine Collection .....

I chose 3 colours of matching cardstock to use as a base for each card. The first 2 cards use Cherry cardstock (which is looking very orange in my photo!)

The green cards use the Fern cardstock as their base

The last 2 cards use Smoke cardstock for their bases.

I got out some of my embossing folders to use - love this woodgrain one behind the owl.
I even did a little sponging with a Heidi Swapp stencil on the base for the green hippo card.
Using bits of the Collectables pieces makes embellishing the cards really quick and easy!

Project Life Style

Hi there.
Here are a couple of  Project Life style pages to show you.....

For this first page I used the Project Life - Design D Photo Pocket Page.
This design is great for portrait photos of which I had 4 of to use. I used papers from Kaisercraft's Confetti 6x6 pad and cut it to fit in the 3x4 pockets and I embellished them with the Confetti Collectables. This paper cordinates with Kaisercraft's Captured Moments cards - Happy Days.
I made this page for my sister for Christmas and put it in an album for her along with some  more pocket pages and the Kaisercraft Captured Moments-Happy Days cards and a journalling pen - A starter kit for her to start her own project life! (I left the journalling for her to do!) When she came to stay after Christmas we had some sessions/lessons on what to do! Plus a visit to the Artfull Crafts shop to get some more goodies to help her on her way!

For this page the photos were different sizes and it was to go into a frame. So I used "pocket" style but on a 12x12 piece of white card. (It could also be put into a 12x12 page protector too).
Again I used papers from Kaisercraft's Confetti 6x6 pad and cut it to fit and embellished them with the Confetti Collectables.
I am excited about the  Captured Moments cards Kaisercraft are bringing out and that each set matches a Collection. This makes it such a neat way  of adding some extra bits and pieces to your pages.

Project 365

Hi there.
Here is the Project 365 photo a day that I have been doing, to show you what I have done with it each month.

For this Layout I have used Kaisercraft's Spring Bloom Collection and their Favourite Things Captured Moments cards to embellish the photo which is on a background of white cardstock.
Last September I got an iphone and I love it because it takes nice photos too. So I always have it with me and don't need to cart my camera everywhere too! I had read about the Project 365 app that you use to take a daily photo. I decided I wanted to try it, so I did and at the end of each month I have a collage of photos to save. I got them printed off my phone at Harvey Norman as a 8x10
(Enlargements are half price on a Wednesday!) This is how it looks....

And now after I have played with it....

This one I have used Simple stories Snap cards and stickers to embellish it.
I just love that I can get so many photos on one page and that it gives a good overview of  my daily life too! I have put my journalling on the October page and have tucked it under the photo- so to read you just pull it out!
I will just put these into a 12x12 page protector and put them into my Project Life album.

Lastly a card I have made with the Spring Bloom Collection ...
